Reed “Tip” of the Month
————————-
Whether you use our MKL Reed Soaker or something else to soak
your reeds, remember to follow these simple rules to get the
most out of your MKL Reeds!
1. Use fresh water in your soaker, and change it regularly
for your own health and the health of your reeds.
2. Room temperature water is best.
3. As a reminder, MKL Reeds don’t need to be “soaked” at
all—a quick dip will do! Follow the enclosed soaking
instructions with your reeds to get the best sound,
response, and stability.
4. Although they don’t need much water, our reeds do
need some! Reeds are more fragile and less responsive
when completely dry, so always dip them in water before playing.
